Read mbx messages

Full content of one or more messages (ids or unique id prefixes), framed with sender verification. It marks your own copy read, so the sender’s receipt (mbx_sent) shows it; nothing else changes. Next: answer with mbx_reply if it needs one, then mbx_ack once you have dealt with it.
